Peter,
You always make me laugh!
Even as I know the challenge of day-to-day managing PD, I never thought it was funny until my dad made jokes about it to other folks in his support group.

And now, you make me see the funny side of mundane and extraordinary life with PD.

Yup, been there, done that! The voice was one of the first things to go for me -- probably accelerated/triggered when I had fusion of cervical spine from top to bottom... My singing career was over instantly.

Now I croak very nicely (but not loudly), thank you! ;-)

Hi Robyne, I expect to have this disease for years. The idea of not laughing at it for all that time is bleak beyond words. Glad that you are joining in!

Best,

Peter

Hello Dan, Your voice may be soft, but it comes through just fine in the comments. Thank you,

Peter

I really enjoyed your post! Best wishes on becoming a published author! This is my first post, ever. I was diagnosed with PD 14 mos ago, but until this week, I did not want to look at or read anything about PD on the web. I'm giving myself at least 20 pts for making this milestone.........

Thanks Debbie, I remember my first few months of struggling to deal with diagnosis. Rays of hope were few and far between. It seems to me that now they are less so. Try the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation site here (full disclosure: I blog some for them) And,for a good time, google Exercise Parkinson's disease. Best wishes,

Peter
